Bergerac is a medium-sized city, located on the shore of the Dordogne. This river divides the city in two, the Northernmost part being the largest. The South is mostly made up of industry, larger shopping centers, and the airport.

Libourne

Located next to Saint-Émilion, you will its wine-wise equal, Libourne. It is a city of business, where some maintenance is long overdue. And yet, Libourne is still a nice place to pay a visit on market days (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday) on the great square in the center (the Place Abel Surchamp), as well as on the square in front of the Lycée Max Linder, where the terrace of bar L’Orient is a great place to hang out in the summer.
